I love house concerts and this one should be a a good one... The show is from 6:00-8:00, but there is a 'social hour' from 5:00 - 6:00 where you can get settled in and visit. The hosts say, "Think of this as Concerts in the Park style. Feel free to bring a picnic basket and beverage of choice. Be sure to bring a lawn chair." Sounds like fun to me!

This is a great little neighborhood bar with great food, an excellent bar and friendly people - always a good, relaxed time. And no cover charge (and lots of free street parking)... hassle free fun! Come on!

This is one of the very best music festivals around - 4 days of amazing concerts for a surpeisingly low cost (see their website for info)... I am just sneaking in for a guest appearance with Rich Layton and his band - Rich is an old friend from Houston who is a very talented harmonica player and singer. And he had the good sense to bring in Terry Wilson to play bass i his band... The Waterfront Blues Festival is always a wonderful hang!

This is a very cool songwriter showcase hosted by Jodi Siegel that has been going on for a long time. We played it a couple of years ago and had a ball... It's a brewery and the beer is excellent (and the food is surprisingly good, too..). It's a free show, but donations are encouraged. If you are in the neighborhood, I hope you can join us!

Take tall trees, snow-streaked mountain peaks, blue sky and pine-scented air and add over 100 Arts & Crafts booths selling handmade crafts and clothing, along with food vendors, restaurants, unique shops, and LIVE MUSIC all day and you have a very fun outing... (We play around 1:00.) It's about an hour and a half from LA, but you feel like you are in another world... take a break and come hang out with us in this beautiful mountain setting... The party starts at 9 and goes all day (with the parade starting at 11!). Free parking and if you don't want to go home, there are lots of reasonable motels and B&Bs nearby. GIve yourself a break and come party with us in the country!

We will be playing outside on the patio, tucked into a beautiful spot surrounded by trees and a little creek by an RV park that has been there for ages...
